Essen, 29.09.2020 (PresseBox) – On 10 September 2020, Centric IT Solutions GmbH held their customer day in the form of a half-day webinar due to the coronavirus crisis. And with great success, as the company received over 120 registrations from customer companies, interested parties and partners. The event focussed on the topic of the internal control system (ICS) for SAP® HCM. Due to the increasing demands for compliance and efficiency in human resources, this issue is gaining ever more importance for companies.
Focus on proven on-premise and new cloud solutions for SAP HCM
As in previous years, Friedhelm Rayczik, Product Manager at Centric, was the host of the event. It kicked off with Steven Wernike, Managing Director of Centric Germany and responsible for the SAP HCM Add On Tools business unit, reporting on the current state of play of Centric IT Solutions GmbH and the new Centric Cloud Solutions GmbH: “With the demands on the compliance and efficiency of their sensitive processes growing all the time, human resources departments are increasingly looking for simple-to-use special tools that optimise their work with SAP HCM. We have many years of practical experience with HCM projects, and our add-on tools for fast implementation match the exact needs of SAP user companies,” commented Steven Wernike, emphasising the high level of expertise Centric has in this area. He also reported on additional measures within the scope of the focus.
Acquisition of e-records and sale of the Oracle JD Edwards unit
On 30 June 2020, Centric acquired the e-records of EASY SOFTWARE AG and simultaneously integrated their cloud specialists into the team. As part of establishing the new Hamburg site, more new staff will be recruited.
Another topic was the sale of the Oracle JD Edwards business unit to Steltix Deutschland GmbH, an Oracle Platinum Partner, on 1 July 2020. This transaction further underlines Centric Germany’s intention to consistently focus on its main business with SAP HCM.
Important product updates and a new customer portal
In subsequent presentations, Centric experts showed which tools are helpful in HR departments in light of the current challenges, which new developments are on the horizon and what the road map for further developments looks like.
The new cloud portfolio was also presented. This enables the seamless integration of business processes involving large amounts of documentation in SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors. A digital personnel file is part of the portfolio, as are reference creation and document generation tools. All products in the portfolio are based on the SAP Cloud Platform and can be acquired via a subscription model.
The speakers also presented product updates for the PLK/PLX compliance tools (preventative control and security system for payroll services in SAP HCM), MADAP (Master Data Audit Program for SAP – HCM PA/OM) and VTB2, the all-in-one reporting tool.
Alongside its specialist innovations, Centric also introduced its new customer portal in which customers have quick access to all important information and can benefit from the prompt processing of their requests.
The topics presented during the approximately four-hour webinar were met with great interest. Subsequent virtual round tables, at which the Centric experts were available to answer questions and talk with the participants, provided a forum for lively expert debate.
Friedhelm Rayczik closed the successful online event with a look at the next customer day, which is planned for October 2021 and will hopefully take place in Munich again.
